Partnerships in action to increase bilingual resources in the health and social services system in the Greater Quebec City region
Through Partnerships in Action to Increase Bilingual Resources in the Health and Social Services System in the Greater Quebec City Region, the Jeffery Hale Community Partners (JH Partners) implements, promotes, and manages the Dialogue McGill Bursary Program for the benefits of English-speaking youth that have an interest in pursuing a career in the health and social services sector after their studies. JH Partners promotes the program with the support of all key strategic partners of its community, as well as through English-speaking media. JH Partners is also receiving and administers all the applications and develops a comprehensive and fair selection process led by a selection committee. Finally, JH Partners is ensuring that an efficient monitoring process is implemented to better track the career path of its bursary recipients throughout the duration of the project.
This project aims to:
Encourage English-speaking youth to consider a career in the health and social services sector in the Greater Quebec City region.
Inform students of resources, bursaries and summer student employment opportunities in the region’s health and social services institutions.
Manage the Dialogue McGill Health and Social Services Community Network Bursary Program to maximize its capacity to financially support English-speaking youth who are interested in eventually working in the health and social services sector in the region.
